A podcast about the everyday challenges we face as regular human beings. Through the series we aim to discuss stress, depression, grief, redundancy, anxiety, homelessness and more. We hope that by exploring these everyday problems we can shed some light on ways to cope with them and make the world a more comfortable place.

Episode 8 of Everyday Problems sees hosts Tom and Liam discuss an event that took place for Tom some years ago resulting from a long period of not addressing psychological issues that badly needed his attention. The conversation gets a little graphic in terms of some of the injuries sustained but we felt it necessary to bare all in order to demonstrate the severity of what can happen if you’re not looking after yourself.
Whatever your problems are, no matter how big or small they may seem compared to other people’s, they are yours and they are real. Don’t be ashamed to feel sadness, stress, grief, depression, anxiety, or frankly anything else. We urge you though, not to bottle those feelings up, but to speak to someone and let them know that you may be struggling.
Here at Everyday Problems, we’re not medical professionals but if you feel that you may be some how in danger, we strongly recommend that you speak to someone who is. Rather than put links up to counsellors and therapists in your area, we recommend that you speak directly to your GP, and if you’re in immediate danger then perhaps speak to the Samaritans on 116 123.
